The last authentic travelling marionette theatre in Central Europe (Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany) recalls the hardship-filled lives of travelling performers. At the heart of the film is the story of the Dubský family, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of a folk art form passed down through generations.
Following the film, there will be a discussion with the audience featuring Peter Beňovsky and Ida Hledíková-Polívková.
