Abstract

The (puppet) art of parody from psychological, musical and puppetry perspectives: through human hands, marionettes bring animals to life, imbuing them in turn with human traits – feeling, acting and experiencing. How does this parodic play work, and what can body language, movement, direction and choreography reveal about ourselves?
